Keith Pollock Joinery is a one-stop-shop for all bespoke joinery requirements. Based in Edinburgh, they work across Scotland catering to a wide range of residential and commercial clients. They lead with exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design solutions and unparalleled attention to detail; incorporating functionality and style into every space they create.
Keith approached us to redesign the company’s website. He wanted a new website that would properly showcase the breadth of the services the company offered, as well as highlighting the style and flair of his projects to-date. We also created an editable file for the creation of quotations and invoices.
The visual identity needed a slight refresh. We took the original logomark, which is based on an architectural blueprint, and thinned it out slightly. To create more harmony and balance, we lengthened all of the lines to arrive at a more sophisticated logomark. The palette also benefitted from a few tonal shifts. We switched out brown for navy, which worked better alongside the company’s hallmark mid-blue tone. The palette is optimistic and friendly, positioning Keith Pollock Joinery as an honest and quality-driven business.
The palette also speaks to the caliber of projects the business undertakes. They have completed a number of stand-out projects that have garnered national accreditation and praise. At the beginning of 2018, Lidl enlisted Keith Pollock Joinery to conduct a re-fit of its bathrooms in all 34 stores across Scotland. They were also part of a two-year renovation of Emily Murray’s home, famously known as The Pink House, which culminated in 2016.
With the renewed palette and streamlined logomark, we created an editable file for the creation of estimates and invoices. It is now much easier to prepare and forward these items directly to clients. The cells are populated with formulas for automatic calculations, saving valuable time that was previously wasted using calculators and notepads. The format will remain unchanged as all assets have been locked in place.
The redesigned website is now responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile. It perfectly represents the work that Keith Pollock Joinery has carried out to-date, as well as welcoming all new enquiries.
